Established in 1895 and located in the historic Alice Lord Goodine House in the heart of Groton Village, the Groton Free Public Library is a municipal library that offers a wide catalog of books. Held annually right in Groton Village, the winter light show hosts prominent displays of dazzling light features. Join the festivities at the Groton Free Public Library. Fall Foliage Festival & Chicken Pie Supper
The pinnacle of community events in Groton is held yearly, the Fall Foliage Festival! Spend the day downtown and purchase from local vendors as you enjoy the autaminal scenery. In the evening, head over to the Community Building and take part in the famous Chicken Pie Supper. Dine in or take out and enjoy a volunteer made pie!
